Our Swansea store was planned to open in November 2007 in the revamped David Evans building. However, when an area of archaeological interest was discovered under the foundations, the store launch was held back until April 1st 2009 - and we can undeniably say our reputation is built on time-honoured values!
The much anticipated opening was a resounding success and the Swansea public gave us a thrilling welcome. Paul Slater officially opened the store with Welsh national rugby captain Ryan Jones and Miss Wales. Slaters was the first store to open in the new David Evans building and we like to think that we stand as one of the first and finest steps in the regeneration of Swansea.
Our store offers a vast array of menswear, formal hire and Highland dress, with our size ranges tried to the limit when we were asked to fit the Ospreys for their new season’s suits. We also provide a popular selection of womens business wear.
We have a wonderful team here at Swansea, all with different areas of expertise. We will be happy to help with anything you may require, so make sure you pay us a visit.
