Basingstoke sells menswear and formal hire and has been open since March 2004. We are on the first floor above Tesco in a busy area of Festival Place shopping centre. Our services attract customers from as far west as Swindon, as far south as Poole, and as far north as Oxford. We are only 40 minutes on the train from London.
We have an experienced team of staff, many of whom have over five years service with Slaters. Store Manager Thomas Bebb relocated to Basingstoke from the original Cardiff store and has been with Slaters since 2000. All the staff recognises that Slaters’ loyal customers rely on our high level of service and we are proud to have been among the winners of the Outstanding Customer Service Award.
The store is a major supplier of corporate uniforms to many local businesses, sports clubs and other organisations and we actively support local charities. Our Highlandwear and formal hire section is the largest supplier to the wedding market in the area and we exhibit at many wedding venues around Hampshire.
