Located in the heart of the city centre, just off Market Street and a 2-minute walk from the Arndale Centre Market Street entrance is our modern Manchester store.  Since opening its doors Dale Street in 1988, the store moved in 2007 to its current location.

Tailoring for all occasions 

Suits from 24” to 60” chest in a range of fits for all occasions; proms, weddings, graduations and business with free alterations. Our tailoring collections extend to beautifully tailored blazers, trousers and chinos from a range of well-known brands. From March 2023, introducing our exclusive Made To Order suit service, putting the creative and personalised design in the hands of the wearer, allowing you to build a signature suit in a few simple steps.

Free Alterations

Within every Slater Menswear store, we provide a Free Alterations Service to our customers, on all tailoring purchased online or from any of our stores, ensuring you get the right fit every time. Our expert team of in-house tailors and seamstresses ensure each garment is altered to the fit and comfort of the customer, from shortening trousers to tailoring jackets and waistcoats.

Hirewear

Our formal suit hire is available in the Manchester store from £80. The store offers a full range of hirewear styles including; tails, eveningwear, dinner suits, morning suits and kilts. Perfect for all occasions from weddings to proms and communions.
