With expert guidance and brand recommendations directly from our buyers, we wanted to break down the differences in suit fits and cuts to help you make more of an informed choice on what suit fit is best for your shape and style.

Skinny fit features little to no excess fabric and sharp lines to create a fashion-forward and modern look. Lapels and pocket tabs tend to be narrower, the length of the jacket shorter forming a stylish silhouette and the trousers are tapered into a skinny fit. This style of suit is perfect for the style-conscious man wanting to make a bold and fashionable statement when dressing smart. Although in general, this fit is best suited to a slimmer figure, we do offer varying levels of skinny throughout our different ranges.

As the name suggests, the slim fit is a style which is closely fitted to the body with a small amount of excess fabric, thus creating a sharp, trim look. Slim fit jackets are slim across the chest and have narrower-cut shoulders. Trousers are cut in a slim and sleek silhouette to finish off the suit neatly. Our slim-fitting suits are just right if you are looking for a streamlined, and look great on most body types.

Tailored fit is a timeless style of suit for most body shapes but tends to work best for men with a 40”+ chest. This fit features a shaped waist and clean lines which allow for a stylish and flattering silhouette. Trousers are fuller in the thigh and slightly tapered on the hem to finish off the suit smartly. Tailored fit has some excess fabric and ideal for anyone who wants to dress smart but not compromise on comfort.
